Dr Josh Tibbetts
Josh graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2015 with an MSci in Natural Sciences. He then joined the Bull group to conduct a PhD on catalytic transformations of terpenes and other biorenewables, with a focus on the development of biorefinery based processes using biorenewable feedstocks. In Jan 2020, he started a postdoctoral position in the Cresswell group at Bath to work in the area of photoredox catalysis for primary amine C-H functionalisation. He is currently back working in his old PhD fumehood developing a new class of potential antibiotic compounds. In his spare time, Josh enjoys collecting vinyl records, following Bristol Flyers basketball team, and supporting Aston Villa.

Siqi Wei
I am originally from Guangzhou, China. I graduated from University of Huddersfield in 2019 majored in Pharmaceutical Chemistry as a part of 3+1 program. Then I came to the University of Bath and did Msc in Drug Discovery. My research is to continue my masters project in the Bull group which is focused on the synthesis and biological testing of natural products. In my spare time, I enjoy sleeping, eating, watching films and photography.
Aaron Lister
Aaron completed his BSc Chemistry degree at the University of Huddersfield and is currently undertaking his PhD as part of the Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems CDT at the University of Bath. His research is focusing on the synthesis of bioproducts derived from renewable sources (such as lignin and terpenes) and its potential application within the automotive industry. In his spare time, Aaron plays music in a band, enjoys hiking, and (trying to) learn Mandarin.
Tom Whatton
Tom graduated from the University of Leeds in 2021 with an MChem in Medicinal Chemistry. His current PhD within the group focusses on utilising the Diels-Alder reaction class to produce aromatic scaffolds which can be utilised for potential theranostic applications. In his spare time Tom enjoys all things gaming, computing, and generally triangular.
